Built from 1792 to 1855, Elgin is a mere 10 minute drive from downtown Natchez. Guests stay in the 1853 Guest House.
This 1853 kitchen quarters has been converted to a guest house, with 3 bedrooms, two and a half baths, living room, dining room, and kitchen. Guests are treated to a full Southern breakfast and a tour of the main house.
Golfers, take advantage of our golf packages and the fact that Elgin Plantation is just a mile away from the gateway to Natchez' finest golf course, Beau Pre Golf Club.

Once the home of the Spanish Governor, Hope Farm was built in the 1770's and rests on 15 acres in the Historic District of Natchez.
There are four bedrooms from which to choose, all with exquisite four-poster beds like the one shown at the top of the page. Three of the bedrooms can accommodate 3-4 guests, and the gardens are yours to explore.
A full Southern Beakfast is served promptly at 8:30 in the main dining room. Have your morning coffee on the back gallery, then get treated to a private tour of the home.
